The 12-inch limbs allow the riser to be longer. 70 lbs, Right handed, with a draw length of 29".The Dream Season is 33" inches axle to axle in length. For the bows, they are all set up the same. A lot of people asked me last year why I chose that grain of arrow for the review and I wanted to clarify that during this years review. After fletching and screwing in the inserts, that is what it weighs. The reasoning behind shooting that grain of the arrow is simple.
There is also no bow press needed if you want to change the modules out. This allows you to have the bow perfectly set up for you, which in turn makes you a better shooter. The cams are hybrid cams are some real monsters and allow you to make minor changes in the draw length. On the riser there are five sight-mounting screw holes to allow you to mount your sights at different levels on your bow. This in combination with the long riser ensures that the bow is more forgiving when being shot. The brace height of the Dream Season is 7".
The grip on the bow is a two-piece rubber grip that insulates your hand and helps absorb the shock from the release, yet allows you to have a thin neck grip which fits great in your hand.The bows draw is smooth throughout and the back wall is very solid. The less let-off that you have the more speed you are going to get. The bow comes in 60% or 70% let-off.
I shot the dream season through the Chronograph 10 times to come up with an average speed of 306 feet per second. Overall the draw cycle was very smooth, as a matter of fact much smoother than the x-force was last year and the hand shock and noise was unnoticeable.Like I said, we are going to be testing the bows for speed using a 373-grain arrow. I did this a few times to ensure that it was not me. When shooting the bow, there was virtually zero hand shock and very minimal noise. After drawing the bow a couple of times, I wanted to shoot it to feel that hand shock and listen for any noise. The bow wants to send that arrow down range as fast as it can.
After last years review, I received numerous emails wanting to know if I had a scale to rate the bows that I tested. This year I am going to rate the bows on a scale of 1 to 10. I can't wait until I can watch the show and see the X-force in action. The folks at Drury Outdoors should be proud to have their shows logo put on there. 306 FPS is still smoking fast and if you can't hit what you are aiming at, then speed is not important.Overall I am very impressed with the Dream Season X-force. There is nothing wrong with that, because I believe I would rather have a bow that is better to shoot than fast as anything.
